Required Mac App Store screenshot sizes

Unlike iPhone screenshots, Mac App Store has fewer required sizes. Apple accepts screenshots from several Mac display configurations:

Technical requirements

- Color space: sRGB (avoid P3 if you want consistent rendering across older Macs)

- Max per app: 10 screenshots per size

- Minimum: 1 screenshot at a supported resolution

- Aspect ratio: Apple does not crop Mac screenshots the way it does iPhone screenshots. Submit full-window captures.

The simplest approach: take a full-resolution screenshot of your app window using Cmd+Shift+4, then space-click the window. This gives you a PNG at native Retina resolution (2× scale).

On a 13" MacBook Pro Retina, a full-window screenshot will be close to 2560×1600 px. On a 14" or 16" MacBook Pro, you'll get 2560×1664 px. Both are accepted by App Store Connect.
